Happy New YearAs we come to the conclusion of 2011 I look back at all our blessing that God has given to our family....Louis continues to work as CEO/ President of Qoncert and CCprep.com. He has been able to do something this year that has been his goal since we started Qoncert back in 2003. We became a partner with Tampa Bay Bucaneers this year and and now are affiliated to all three of Tampa professional teams. With these partnerships we are able to entertain clients at many events throughout the year. I am sure many of you have seen my Facebook page where I have posted excursions and events. Since we love sports it just makes doing business even more fun! We continue to go to the Florida State games also. We have been very blessed and are busier than ever which is great and hard at the same time because it keeps Louis away from us during the week. We try to go to Tampa as much as possible and the kids enjoy the hotel life! With all the kids in school I was able to get back to my tennis last year. Mom and I are doubles partners and having a great time. So I am playing Monday, Tuesday and Thursday on an A team. I really did not know how much I missed it until I started playing again. I am also the controller for Qoncert and CCprep. That just means I do a bunch of data entry and pay bills and help our accountant with some things he does not have time for. It allows me to keep my hand in the business. I am in the office most afternoons after tennis and Wednesday and Friday's. When I am not playing tennis or working I am running the kids to their various activities and helping with their homework. The kids are all doing great and are very busy. Kami is now in 3rd grade and doing great with her reading, multiplication and division. She will have to take the FCAT this year. I sure hope she tests like Louis!! Kaiti is in the 1st grade and also excelling very well. She is reading very well, doing great at addition and subtraction. Lou E. is in a 3 year old preschool where he is doing very well. His teachers tell me what a joy he is to have in class. He listens well and is working on the sound of the first letter in words! He is constantly asking me what letter words start with and he usually ends up telling me :) All three are taking tennis lessons. Kami and Kaiti have been playing since fall 2010 and Lou E has just started in December. They all love it. The girls played in their first tournament that was put on by our club here at Marsh Creek. Louis and I were very impressed how well they are playing and the kids decided they wanted Daddy to play. So for Christmas they got him and tennis racket and lessons. They thought it was something to do as a family! Louis has already challenged me. So competitive! The girls also have dance with their Aunt Kit at her studio Dance for Joy on Tuesdays and then have started gymnastics on Thursdays. They really are enjoying both and improving very quickly. A few other highlights of 2011 are ... On April 30th we had the chance to meet former FSU head coach Bobby Bowden. It was another once in a lifetime bucket list event. On July 10th Todd and Jenny added Tolynn McClain Kamla at 3:12 PM to the family. She was 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 21 inches long. We now have 5 nieces and nephews:) On July 28th Louis' mother's side of the family had a family reunion and it was a lot of fun seeing some that we have not seen for years! On July 30th I celebrated my 20th High School reunion. It was a lot of fun seeing so many friends and meeting their kids! I can't believe it has been 20 years. Boy time just keeps going by. On September 28th we celebrated Louis' 4th Birthday at the Tampa Bay Rays vs. NY Yankees. This was the last game of the season where the Rays came back 8 down in the 7th and and tied it up in the bottom of the ninth to go on to extra innings and then to win the Wild Card and go onto the playoffs. This is another event that we will remember for a long time. Lou E. made it to the end of the 9th and then made a bed and fell asleep. On November 19th Louis and I celebrated our 17th anniversary in Green Bay. We were able to go with the Buccaneers and watch a game in a suite at Lambeau Field. That is something that we can check off our bucket list :) Please look at the 2011 photo album for the pictures from the year. We have had several family members and friends come and visit us this year and we hope that more will come in the year to come. We have a big summer of travel planned where we will be visiting Cincinnati for a wedding of Louis' cousin Jen Skeels and we will visit and stay with the Legault's (Damon and his family) in their new house. We will then fly from there to San Diego for Louis' annual Cisco Networkers that he has attended for the last 14 years. We will be staying with The Legault's (Adam) there too for several days and then we will visit Karmen, Jeff and Eden in Malibu since they finally have room for us to stay :) After that we will fly to Detroit to celebrate my cousin graduating from high school and then finally back home to spend time with Louis dad who will be here from Thailand for a couple months. This should be a lot of fun because it will be three years since we have seen him and Fon! Happy New Year! With love and blessings, The Rossi Five Kaiti, Kami, Kim, Lou E. and Louis ![]() |
